Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Kaveli Booth (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides AI photobooth experiences for events across Metro Vancouver, British Columbia. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

Information we collect

We collect information in two main ways:

When you book or contact us

Through our booking form, you may provide your name, email address, event date, event location, chosen package, style preferences, and any details you include in the notes field. We collect this so we can respond to your enquiry and arrange your event.

At your event

Our photobooth captures photographs of guests who choose to step in, and uses them to generate AI portraits on the spot. Participation is voluntary — guests choose whether to use the booth and what style to create.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to booking enquiries and arrange and deliver your event;
  • Generate, print, and provide the AI portraits created at the booth;
  • Communicate with you about your booking and follow up afterward;
  • Maintain a portfolio of our work, subject to the consent terms below.

Event photos, portfolio & social media

We keep photos and the AI portraits generated at events for a period of time so we can deliver them to you, reproduce them if needed, and showcase examples of our work in our portfolio and on our social media channels.

We only post identifiable images of guests to our social media or marketing where we have permission to do so, or where photos are taken at a public event. If you or a guest would prefer a specific image not be used publicly — or removed after the fact — just contact us and we will honour that request.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, and only as needed:

  • Google Calendar — the booking flow creates a calendar event with your event details.
  • Web3Forms — used to email us your booking enquiry.
  • Vercel — hosts this website.

These providers process information on our behalf and may store it on servers outside Canada. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Retention

We keep booking information for as long as needed to manage your event and our business records. We retain event photos and portraits for portfolio and marketing purposes as described above. You can ask us to delete your information or specific images at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it by law.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, withdraw consent for marketing use of images, or ask questions about this policy. To make a request, email us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may collect basic, non-identifying technical information (such as general traffic data) needed to serve and secure the site.

Children

Our booth is often present at family events and may capture photos of children who participate with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect booking information directly from children. If you believe a child's image has been used in a way you did not consent to, contact us and we will address it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent version.
